Settings

This section introduces the key configuration features that allow you to manage EVA’s overall operating environment, alert criteria, and user permissions. The Settings menu includes system-wide options, and proper use of these features enables more consistent and efficient AI operations.

System Settings

System Settings define the default operating environment of EVA. You can check the current version and configure the service language and timezone according to your environment.

EVA supports both Korean and English. When the language is changed, it applies not only to the UI but also to alert messages. For example, even if a detection scenario is written in another language, alerts will be translated into the selected system language. This ensures consistent operation under a unified language standard.

Timezone settings affect event timestamps and logs, so it is important to match them with your actual operating environment.

  • Version Information: Check the current EVA system version
  • Language Settings: Supports Korean / English (also applied to alert messages)
  • Timezone Settings: Defines the time standard for events and logs

Global Scenarios

Global Scenarios are used when you need to apply the same detection criteria across multiple cameras. You can create and save a scenario, then select and activate it in individual camera settings.

This feature allows you to easily maintain consistent standards across all cameras, significantly improving operational efficiency—especially when detecting the same type of risk across multiple locations.

When a global scenario is active, detections matching its defined targets are evaluated with priority based on that scenario. Therefore, it is important to consider its relationship with individual camera scenarios when configuring.

Emergency Alert Types

In Emergency Alert Types, you can define what conditions should be considered “critical.” By setting specific keywords or contexts, EVA evaluates alerts and classifies their urgency accordingly.

For example, registering keywords such as “collapse,” “fire,” or “intrusion” allows EVA to classify related detections as emergency alerts, enabling faster response compared to general alerts.

This feature plays an important role in prioritizing responses in real-world operations.

License Management

License Management allows you to view the current status of your license. You can check key information such as the license key, validity period, activation status, and the maximum number of cameras supported.

The number of supported cameras is directly tied to system scalability, so it should always be verified before adding new cameras. If the license expires, some features may be restricted, so ongoing management is required.

  • License Key: Identifier of the current license
  • Status: Active / Expired
  • Validity Period: Duration of availability
  • Camera Limit: Maximum number of cameras that can be registered and operated

Account

The Account settings allow you to manage user access to EVA. Administrators can create or delete accounts and assign permissions based on organizational roles.

When creating a new account, the default password is set to EVA123@. For security reasons, it is recommended to change the password after the first login.

Access to features varies depending on user roles:

  • Account Creation / Deletion: Admin only

  • Initial Password: EVA123@ (change recommended after first login)

  • Role-Based Permissions

    • Admin: Full access to all features
    • Manager: Can modify AI settings and provide feedback (cannot create accounts)
    • User: Read-only access (cannot use chat or modify settings)
