Connect to Edge Conductor

Edge Conductor is a central service that integrally manages Vision ML solution packages like EVA and deploys the latest AI models. By registering EVA with Edge Conductor, you can selectively deploy the Vision ML solution best suited for your operational environment and continuously utilize newly updated models.



EVA Registration​

After installing EVA, the first step is to connect to Edge Conductor and register the newly installed EVA instance.

  1. Access Edge Conductor: Connect to the Edge Conductor management dashboard via the web interface.
  2. Registration Request: Click the Register button on the screen to start registering a new edge device.
  3. Search and Select EVA: Edge Conductor searches for newly installed EVA instances on the network. Identify and select the instance based on the EVA IP address and Kubernetes Namespace used during installation to request registration.


Vision ML Solution Deployment​

Once registered, EVA must receive a Vision ML solution package to activate its AI analysis capabilities.

  1. Navigate to Stream Page: Go to the Stream or Solution management page in Edge Conductor.
  2. Select Solution: Choose a Vision ML solution pre-configured for your operational environment and domain.
  3. Execute Deployment: Click the Deploy button for the selected solution, choose the previously registered EVA, and start the deployment.

💡 The solution deployment process may take several minutes depending on network conditions and package size. Once deployment is complete, you can select and use the latest ML models provided by the Vision ML solution from the EVA dashboard.
